Murder means laughs and live entertainment for this group! The audience will dine with the most lethal mobsters in town. The show lasts for two and a half hours and visitors will enjoy a full, 4-course meal– all the while trying to solve a deadly case

The two and a half hour interactive comedy features a four course sit down dinner. You even have the chance to solve the case and win some prizes. Join us at the ROTTEN CLUB, a swanky joint in Midtown Chicago. The Rotten is a place where the jazz swings, and the booze flows freely despite prohibition. Gangsters frequent the Rotten Club, making this the most notorious spot in the entire city. The cops have been trying to raid this place for months, and all the gangsters are suspicious about possible police infiltration into the club. The hoods in the club are edgy, and it seems that everyone is packing, right down to the hat check girl.

The Rotten is owned by Early Demise, a bootlegger, numbers runner and loan shark. Early has been hit with a string of misfortune lately, hijacked liquor, divorce papers, and hints about job security. With Bette Breathless, his headline singer, Bert Flert the night club MC, Gertie Gooselips the hat check girl and Serten Demise his soon to be ex-wife, Early will be entertaining his larger than life boss.......Mr. Big tonight at the club. Everything has to come off without a hitch or it's curtains for Early!

Our Murder Mystery Dinner Shows will be performed on Thursday evenings and Sunday late afternoons every week. Must be 18 years of age or older.  Pay Scale is based on experience.

The 1st Street Cabaret & Speakeasy is a Themed based Restaurant, Dinner Theatre & Bar. Hours of operation are from 10:00 AM until 12:00 AM, Tuesday thru Sunday. Please call (360) 336-3012 to sign up for auditions. Please bring a resume & headshot. The Murder Mystery is set in the 1920's Prohibition Era. We are looking for gangster types, gun molls, Flappers, Singers, Dancers and Comedians. Able to Improv is a must.
